If I might make one suggestion--and you know what? I don't even know if would follow it here, it's just an observation. Be careful when you are shooting white objects on a dark background, your whites here lose some tonality. If this shot was originally taken a bit darker, there would be some more texture in the feathers. Now I say I don't know if i would follow this advice, because personally, i like how the whites are really white. It provides very strong contrast to the black background.
